早在15年前，Rogayah的父母，Ali和Rashidah因为无法持续经营他们的餐馆，而选择把扁担饭摊移到住家前园，后来这盘生意由Rogayah接手。

扁担饭源自北马槟城，是举国上下都钟爱的美食。一餐扁担饭包括蒸饭，和数道咖喱和配菜。

小摊的很多忠实顾客自幼就开始吃Rogayah的饭菜，他们大多来自北部，希望一食解乡愁。
