The Maharashtra cabinet has decided to impose a state wide ban on certain plastic items. The ban that covers plastic carry bags, thermocol and plastic plates, etc is set to come in force from today. While the government says it will implement the ban in phases. NewsX went to ground zero to check how prepared are the Mumbaikars for this ban.
