Perv teachers strike again, students harassed & threatened in school; so much for beti bachao?

It’s yet another shocker of a story coming from Noida where a class 9 student committed suicide. The student's parents have alleged that their daughter was under immense pressure from the school while in the first fir filed by police. Abetment to suicide charges were slapped on the school. A fresh FIR was filed in the case after molestation allegations were made by the grieving parents. Post which POCSO provisions have been added. The larger question we are asking on Speak Out India is how do we make our children safer. After all India has one of the highest rates of suicide in the age group of 16 to 26 and as per NCRB data of 2015. One child kills himself every hour. That’s a scary statistic and we need to speak out.
