A fisherman made a catch from a drainage hole built on cement over a river in China.

The clip, filmed in Liuzhou City in southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on March 13, shows a man carefully pulling his rod up through the drainage hole and bringing up a fish.

According to reports, lots of local enthusiasts fish through drainage holes and can often catch several good-sized fish.

A fisherman once caught a total of 15kg of fish in one day, according to local media.
