Shopian encounters: Police fired pallets, tear gas to disperse mob; almost 10 people suffered pallet injuries

After twin gunfights in Shopian district, clashes erupted in South Kashmir areas with the forces that ultimately forced police and paramilitary forces to fire pellets and tear gas to disperse the protesters due to which ten youth in the age group 16 to suffered eye pellet injuries and were then rushed to SMHS hospital from South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Around 40 youth have received pellet and tear gas shell injuries.
