Instagram Launches New 'Focus' Portrait Mode
Instagram rolled out the new ‘Focus’ feature today for the iPhone models from the 6s to the X, as well as selected Android devices. ‘Focus’ can be found in Instagram Stories and works with both photos and videos. Focus mode leverages background segmentation and face detection technology. The feature is similar to Apple’s portrait mode, which blurs the background and sharpens the foreground of photos for a professional photography look.
