Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck, making them a popular gift of encouragement - Wikipedia\r

This is an adorable kit to make for yourself or as a gift for someone else! Its really easy since you dont need to attach any small fiddly pieces. The only thing to watch out for is dividing up the white wool correctly as both dolls and the ears require white. This is why I made the ears first, before using the remaining wool for the bodies. You should also set aside a tiny piece of white wool to cover up any bleed-through from the red ears. \r

CORRECTION: Thank you to YokaiAkito who let me know that the kitten is ually a traditional lucky dog called Inu Hariko. Im afraid it still says kitten in the video, but just so you know, its a dog ;D.\r

Tip for sewing the facial features: Use a blunt embroidery needle to avoid poking yourself. Pushing the needle into the correct place can be a bit tricky as the felted body is thick, but the good thing is that you can undo the thread and retry as many times as necessary!\r
