PRESENTED BY MICA

Avalanche Blues is the debut solo album by Carlo Mazzoli, founding member of Dead Bouquet (with whom he relesead ‘’As Far As I Know’’, produced by Paul Kimble, founding member and producer of Grant Lee Buffalo) and Rubacava Sessions (with whom he recorded ‘’No Middle Ground’’, produced by Francesco Giampaoli with artistic consulting by Antonio Gramentieri, both founding members of Sacri Cuori).
Recorded during Summer 2016 at SoundClub Recording Studio of his old friend Ernesto Ranieri (who also is the co-producer), Avalanche Blues is a chest of intimate folk-rock songs with a blues feeling, sometimes tinged with ’60s pop... a soulful album, colorful and uniform at the same time.
Is it important to mention Carlo’s version of “Steel Rail Blues”, a folk gem by the legendary Gordon Lightfoot.

On stage, Mazzoli performs in different ways: solo with his 12-string acoustic guitar, as a duo with piano/accordion and also as a trio or as a four-piece band to show his electric side.
