The Catholic Cemetery of Atsion
Within the Atsion Recreational Parking lot sits a mysterious mini-graveyard
The graveyard only contains three grave markers
It is located only a few feet from the rec center and parking lot
When the parking lot was being built, some of the bodies were unearthed
Many people have picnics here and are unaware of this graveyard
Atsion was once a thriving iron community. Atsion also had life as a "planned community", and as the "Atsion Farm" of Joseph Wharton. Reminders of Atsion’s past are visible on the east side of US 206
