My First Drive in the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse WRC [Shmee's Adventures]
As a special celebration following the sale of the 450th and final Veyron, Bugatti presented both the Super Sport WRE and Grand Sport Vitesse WRC together during the Nurburgring 24h race weekend.

Having never previously been behind the wheel of a Veyron, I was invited along to take the Grand Sport Vitesse WRC for a test drive on both an airfield and the roads around the 'Ring.

With Bugatti Official Driver (and former Le Mans 24hr winner), Andy Wallace, alongside me, we take the W16 quad-turbo hypercar out for some laps around the airfield, including reaching over 300km/h on the short runway, experiencing the vehicle's dynamics before heading back onto the roads.

By way of a short conclusion here, what's so spectacular about the Veyron is the effortless nature in which is exerts its power. Because of the sheer size of the engine, it's never being worked hard and as a result demonstrates all the characters that define it being a relaxed and easy car to drive. With the AWD system and huge amounts of engineering technology in the car to make all of that power totally usable, the real world performance is incredible and it's rarely if ever on the limit. With the Grand Sport of course you can then remove the roof and are open to all sorts of turbo noises to increase the experience.

Thanks for watching, Tim
