Did They Really Let Me Drive the Ferrari 599 GTO?! | TEST DRIVE

The Ferrari 599 GTO has alluded me to date, but no longer! Thanks to Dutton Garage in Christchurch, NZ, ahead of the Shmeeting they let me take the keys and go out for the a drive in the seriously special, limited Ferrari model that wears the GTO badge. Does it live up to expectations?
The 599 GTO launched around the time of my YouTube channel getting started, and as such it was one of the most exciting cars to film in those early days. I remember when an owner once invited me to take a seat in his car and have a look at it in more detail like it was yesterday. Since then I have been lucky enough to drive many of my dream cars but the Ferrari 599 GTO is one that has not made it onto that list - until now!
Thanks to Dutton Garage NZ in Christchurch, that became a checked item on the bucket list. With an organised Shmeeting on the cards to meet and greet you guys, I arrived early when they invited me to then take the keys to a car of my choice for an experience out on the roads. Naturally this was the pick, so off I went!
This particular car being RHD makes it significantly rarer as Ferrari did not produce many, and then the choice of colour scheme just makes it even better.
