Rockets fired into Israel from Gaza were intercepted in the skies over Sderot, Israel, on May 29, according to a Tweet from Israeli Defense Forces.The Israel Defense Forces said the Iron Dome system “intercepted several launches” on May 29, though one kindergarten in an Israeli kibbutz near the border with Gaza was said to have been hit by mortar strikes.Israeli forces launched counter attacks and said that fighter jets struck more than 35 sites in Gaza.
