These techniques are in my opinion the most important to know as a new player in chivalry. Prise this and learn to understand its uses and you will have a very solid ground from where you can develop your own fighting technique.\r

There are very few visual descriptions, as I do not believe in teaching out gimmick moves that will preoccupy your mind trying to execute them. Just prise these basics until you have them in the back of your head, and you will automatically start to adapt to almost any situation as you gain experience in the game. And also, some lessons must be learned and you cant simply watch a video and get a feel for it. Thats also why I feel these basics are what you should start of with in your head and not much else.\r

Chivalry is about flow, there is no attack that is better than the other, there is no weapon that cant beat another weapon or class and so on. There is only adapting, and keeping your opponent guessing. I strongly suggest only prising a few select weapons at first, until wielding them starts to feel like a dance kinda, and you start to feel confident enough to fight without hesitating or overthinking anything.\r

I am not against using shields, but I also recommend you stay away from them until the januari new content patch patch if you are new to the game. A nerf is coming up and it may be frustrating to learn something and then find out you dont like the new changes.\r

Oh, I know I didnt explain myself about 120 fov. Well the thing is you get a better look at your surroundings and its much easier to parry angled attacks since they dont go off your screen as much.
