This heart-stopping video captures three base jumpers hurling themselves 100ft from the top of a gorge - and landing just metres from a four-lane carriageway. Onlookers watched in horror as the men jumped from the Avon Gorge near the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol on Thursday. Their parachutes came within inches of snagging on the rocks before they drifted down onto a patch of grass alongside the busy A4 Portway.
