Euro 2016 Hosts France Hold Open Training Session For Fans At Clairefontaine
  • 5 years ago
The gates of Clairefontaine were opened up to members of the public on Monday as locals were given a chance to watch the French national team train.

Security has been tight across the country as the 24-teams competing at Euro 2016 have arrived in France.

Monday was the first access members of the public had been given to Les Bleus since they landed in Paris on Sunday (5th June) afternoon.

After touching down the team circumvented any fans hoping to get a glimpse of Paul Pogba and co as they boarded a bus on the airport tarmac and were transported to Clairefontaine in a convoy of over a dozen vehicles.

But, four days from the start of Euro 2016, the French Football Federation decided to open up Monday's training session to members of the public including a local football team.

France start Euro 2016 at Stade de France on Friday against Romania.
