Chicken Tikka Kebab By Sharmilazkitchen (Oven And Microwave Method)

Chicken Tikka Kebab is one of the most popular chicken dish originates in India. Tikka means bits, pieces or chunks. Traditionally boneless chicken cubes marinated in a mix of yogurt and fresh spices and later baked using skewers in a clay-based oven called a tandoor.\r
It is a perfect starter for party, can also be made main course by adding gravy to the dish (Chicken tikka masala). The dish typically eaten with green chutney served with onion rings and lemon wedges.\r
Ingredients for masala/ spice powder:\r
1 tbsp coriander seeds\r
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds\r
10-12 black peppercorns\r
1/2 tsp fennel seeds\r
5 cardamom\r
7-8 cloves\r
2 cinnamon (2 X 1 pieces)\r
2 bay leaves\r
4 dry red chiliesIngredients for masala/ spice powder:\r

Ingredients for marination:\r
500 gm skinless boneless chicken breast\r
Juice of 1 lemon\r
Roasted gram flour or besan.\r
100 gm cup plain hung yogurt\r
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste\r
2 tsp prepared masala\r
1/2 tsp kasuri methi\r
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric\r
1/2 tsp red chili powder\r
1/2 teaspoon salt\r
Bell pepper, tomato and onion cubes\r
1 tbsp oil\r
2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) melted butter\r
2-3 drops of red food color (optional)\r
Other ingredients:\r
12 6- to 8-inch bamboo skewers, soaked in water 30 minutes\r
Green chutney onion rings and lemon wedges for serving\r
