Government Minister, Honorable Nickolas Steele has appeared to have contradicted himself while providing an update on a lawsuit which was taken out against him and Senator Simon Stiell by a Dr. Roxanne Hopkin for loss of income.
This is reportedly another case of contention in regards to scholarship holders avoiding the obligation to the serve the state in the years following their study.
Minister Steele told media operatives in this week’s post Cabinet Press Briefing Tuesday that the lawsuit was never taken to court.
The stunning comment comes months after the Minister stated that the court case had been adjourned.
