South Korean automakers Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors saw record sales figures in the first half of this year in the German car market.
According to data from the German auto industry association,.... the Korean carmakers sold more than 92-thousand cars from January to June,.... up ten percent on-year,... to take five percent of the total sales of the German auto market.
The South Korean auto giants' strong performance has been attributed to a rise in sales of sports utility vehicles or SUVs.
There was also high demand for Hyundai and Kia's eco-friendly models.
