3,500 Infants Die Yearly From Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)

For decade the “Back to Sleep” campaign has informed parents that they have to correctly put their babies to sleep in order to prevent them from have SIDS, sudden infant death syndrome. In only one year SIDS causes 3,500 infants to die. Dr. Ian Paul, a professor of pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine, stated, “One could be parents’ lack of knowledge. One could be parents thinking this SIDS won’t happen to them. And then there’s the face that parents of infants are exhausted.
