Educational Publishing Company Expands in Ireland

http://www.EmploymentCrossing.com Educational publishing company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt announced plans to invest €350 million into a headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. The plans of a global research and development site is expected to add 450 new jobs over the next five years. The Dublin headquarters will also be the location for its eLearning and digital development business for the Boston-based company. The first phase of expansion is expected to create 200 new positions at its current Irish offices over the next two years. The company’s research and development center will employ nearly 405 workers once completed. Company officials claim the new jobs will mainly be highly technical and will require 3rd or 4th level qualifications as well as management and operational skills.
