A Closer Look at the adidas "Tank-Tested" Springblade

Ahead of the general release of the adidas Springblade, we had a chance to sit down with Steve Vincent, Head of adidas Innovation Team, and Robbie Fuller, Lead Designer of the Springblade, to discuss the upcoming shoe. The result of six years of research and testing, the Springblade was inspired by the concept of levitation and is designed to propel its wearers forward thanks to the unique, cutting-edge design. The innovations aren't just limited to the sole unit either, as the shoe features a new TechFit upper designed to mold to the wearer's foot. Hear the two explain how the shoe came to be, what went into it and how they used a guy named "Tank" to wear the hell out of the shoe. Also, be sure to look for the shoe at adidas locations starting August 1.
