Mzansi Style Guide Vol.3 - Cape Town Skater Scene

In the third and final installment of our "Mzansi Style Guide," we travel to Cape Town to learn about the local skate scene. Spearheaded by longstanding mainstays such as Baseline, a hangout which is operated by skaters, the store brings to the city imported brands such as London's Palace alongside staple labels like California's Thrasher, Benny Gold and HUF. Reaching its 20 year anniversary, Baseline is just as important to skaters as the cape's House of Vans venue - a spacious hub which allows locals to roam and practice for free, while providing the opportunity to attend workshops and screen-printing sessions. Lastly, we round out the trip via a stop off at Corner Store, a retail space helmed by imprints SOL-SOL, 2Bop and Yung Anned Lazy. Enjoy third episode above and share your thoughts below.
