Thieves steal Swedish crown jewels in broad daylight, flee on motorboat

Two men have stolen some of the Swedish crown's most prized possessions -- in broad daylight.
The thieves reportedly pulled off the heist around Tuesday noon local time,... taking a 17th century orb and two golden crowns from a glass display in a cathedral near the capital.
They reportedly got away using women's bikes before they jumped into a motorboat in a nearby bay.
A spokeswoman for the cathedral said the alarm had gone off after the two men had got away,... and that stringent security measures remain in place.
Authorities are using a helicopter and several boats to help search for the thieves.
