Celebrity columnist and television host Robin Leach has died at 76. Leach famously signed off each episode of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” with his catchphrase “Champagne wishes and caviar dreams.” Born in London in 1941, Leach knew he wanted to be a journalist when he was 10 years old. He later worked for the Daily Mail, where he became the youngest Page One editor at age 18. He wrote for the New York Daily News and People magazine and broke into television in 1980, joining CNN. His big break came in 1984 with the debut of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” Leach moved to Las Vegas in 1999 and eventually became a columnist for the
Las Vegas Review-Journal. Robin Leach
