Members of India’s LGBT community and their supporters celebrated on September 6 after the country’s Supreme Court ruled that “any consensual sexual relationship between two consenting adults … cannot be said to be unconstitutional.”The verdict comes after the court was petitioned to rule on a law known as Section 377, which had prohibited “carnal intercourse against the order of nature."
