Committed to building a sustainable future, the City of Paris has adopted the ‘ParisPluie’ plan. Its aim: to make use of 100% of its rainwater. Currently, the city is impermeable, a large proportion of rainwater is lost in the sewer system. This means in case of heavy rain, the sewer system can become overwhelmed. Considering the environmental challenges of the 21st-century, a new water management method is necessary.
