12 foot long python kills cat after wrapping its body around it

This video shows the horrifying moment a python was found attacking a family's pet cat in a northern Thailand district.
The massive serpent slithered down the side of the house at 7 am last Thursday (September 20) and pounced on the unsuspecting tabby cat called "Mi Mi".
When the homeowner heard the cries for help, she called the emergency services who arrived shortly after at her residence located in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi. Animal handlers prized the snake away before dragging it out into the street. Unfortunately, the cat was found to have been crushed to death.
Rescuer Viroj Boonthai said: ''Unfortunately the person in the house only saw what was happening when it was too late.
''There was nothing they could do, and they were afraid to go near the python because it could bite them. They didn't have the equipment to help the cat.
The snake was stuffed inside a canvas sack and driven away in a pick-up truck to be released into the wild.
