7 in 10 Koreans say internet giants Naver, Google not doing enough to prevent fake news

Most South Koreans believe major internet portals such as Naver and Google aren't doing enough to tackle fake news.
A survey conducted by Media Today and ruling party politician Kim Sung-soo found only 19 percent of one-thousand people surveyed believed online portals were doing enough to filter out fake news.
Around 70 percent said major portals weren't doing enough, and that they should exclude media sources that are believed to be producing false stories.
More than 40 percent said they'd come across news stories that they suspected to be false.
A third of respondents said they weren't sure if they'd seen fake news,... leading analysts to conclude there's still a lack of coherent definition on what fake news entails.
