Tamagotchi Friends New Virtual Pet Toy by Bandai

The latest Tamagotchi Friends virtual pet from Bandai was showcased at The London Toy Fair 2014. The original iconic Tama Gotchi was first launched 17 years ago and sold over 80 million units.
The new version of Tamagotchi has retained the classic 90's egg shaped look but now includes a short range communication function. This is a technology very similar to that found in smartphones. The new Tamagotchi allows you to bump other Tamagotchis to send text messages, exchange gifts and even go on a date. The more they bump the more points and rewards will be earned.
