‘The Front Runner’ Isn't Doing Well At The Indie Box Office

Sony’s “The Front Runner” isn’t performing doing so well at the indie box office.
It an estimated $56,000 from its four-screen opening this weekend and a six-day gross of $76,000.
The film was directed by Jason Reitman and stars Hugh Jackman as Senator Gary Hart.
Senator Gary Hart was considered the Democrat frontrunner for the 1988 presidential election
Unfortunately, his candidacy and political career torpedoed by reports of an extramarital affair.
