The fastest Friday ever - Nordschleife record with the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo

After 35 years, the record has been broken. Timo Bernhard laps the Nordschleife in 5:19.546 minutes. It is May 28th, 1983. A young and talented racing driver is competing in the World Sportscar Championship of the ADAC 1000 Kilometer Race at the Nürburgring to qualify. He is driving a Porsche 956 K, chassis number 007. Nobody expected Stefan Bellof to make history that day. He drives the 20.832 kilometer track in the fabulous time of 6:11.13 minutes. A record! This record was to remain unbroken for 35 years.
