Muzaffarpur Horror: SC slams Bihar government over shelter home cases

SC slams Bihar government for not taking action against all 14 shelter homes where the children were subjected to sexual abuse and granted 24 hours time to complete the task. SC says that action of Bihar govt is unacceptable as some of the children in shelter homes were sodomised but Section 377 of IPC was not invoked. Court directs Chief Secretary to rectify the mistake by 2pm tomorrow when the matter will be taken up. It is "shameful" for Bihar govt that it is going soft against perpetrator of crime against shelter homes children."Are children not citizen of the country?" Court asks state govt.
