Good morning, bitterly cold air is back... temperatures in upper regions are close to minus 10 degrees Celsius, even southern regions are waking up to frigid air with a cold wave alerts in place in many areas. These cold temps will be enough to re-freeze any water or snow on the roads, in fact Seoul saw around two centimeters of snowfall.
Drivers need to watch for dangerous, icy conditions... Pedestrians need to watch out for some slippery spots, especially on side roads and sidewalks. Seoul and Daejeon are waking up to a low of minus 7 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon at minus 12.
Daily highs will be couple notches lower today at 1 degree in Seoul, 3 degrees in Daejeon. Bundle up on your way out.
After our cold and frosty start on Saturday morning, temperatures bounce back to the bearable side. On Sunday, a mix of rain and snow is expected for most parts of country.
