CNN has chosen South and North Korea's vow to formally end the Korean War..... as the *top piece of global 'good news' in 2018.
The U.S. media group chose several 'good news' stories by sector,.... including world news, U.S. news, human rights and sports.
The two Koreas were also chosen for the 'good news' story in sports...., for marching together under one flag at the opening ceremony of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Other items on the good news list were.... the low unemployment rate in the U.S.,... and Saudi Arabia allowing women to drive.
