Indonesian Rescuers Use Drones To Search For Survivors
  • 5 years ago
According to Reuters, Indonesian rescuers are using drones and sniffer dogs to search for survivors along the Java coast following a tsunami.
The tsunami killed at least 429 people.
The wave was caused by a landslide, which was caused by a volcanic eruption.
Thick clouds of ash are still spewing from Anak Krakatau, which is a volcanic island where a crater collapse at high tide.
The waves caused by the collapse smashed both sides of the Sunda Strait between the islands of Sumatra and Java.
