South Korea looking to end 59-year Asian Cup title drought

South Korea's footballers will try to end their 59-year continental title drought this year at the 2019 AFC Asian Cup which kicks off in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
South Korea have won the Asian Cup twice before in 1956 and 1960, but they haven't won the trophy since then.
The team is on good form under their new coach Paulo Bento, who has a seven game unbeaten run. This is Bento's first major competition with South Korea, the team is also counting on their key players like Son Heung-min and Hwang Ui-jo.
South Korea are in Group C with China, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines. The team will start the tournament with a match against the Philippines in Dubai on Monday followed by Kyrgyzstan next Friday and China on January 16th.
