S. Korea to set up working group on inter-Korean forestry cooperation

Seoul plans to set up a temporary working group on inter-Korean forestry projects.
Approved by the government on Tuesday, the group will be set up under the South Korean forest service... and will be tasked with working with Pyeongyang to modernize both sides' plant nurseries... and eliminate pest insects.
It'll be staffed by government and civilian experts... and will have a mandate through next January.
Working together in forestry was something the two Koreas agreed to do at their summit last September... as the first step in overall cooperation on the environment.
