Hotel Siege In Kenya Over, At Least 21 Victims Dead

According to Reuters, Kenyan security forces have killed all the Somali militants who stormed an upscale Nairobi hotel compound. At least 21 victims were killed in the hotel siege, and fifty people remain unaccounted for. President Uhuru Kenyatta announced the end of the 20-hour overnight siege via social media. Somali group al Shabaab, an al Qaeda affiliate fighting to impose strict Islamic law, took responsibility for the siege. They claim the attack was revenge for U.S.
