Police question former short track coach on Friday over sexual assault allegations

Police visited a detention center on Friday to question Cho Jae-bum, former coach for the South Korean national short track team,... over allegations that he sexually assaulted Olympic medalist Shim Suk-hee.
Cho is currently in a detention center in Suwon, south of Seoul, after being sentenced to 10 months in prison last December for physically assaulting Shim and other skaters.
An investigation is underway based on statements by the victim and restored mobile phone data.
Cho has reportedly denied the sexual abuse allegations.
