Simbu plays a goon who gets reformed after falling in love and later takes revenge on an underworld don who comes across his love life in the movie. Rowdy Silambarasan, works for a don Pradeep Rawath. Silambarasan runs away to Kolkata to escape a case. In the event, he rescues Gopika, who is on a tour to Kolkata from Kaniyakumari, and misses the train and gets caught in the hands of some anti-socials. She requests Silambarasan to accompany her back home. Impressed by his love and care, she gets attracted towards him. Silambarasan too gradually develops a love for her. Eventually he comes to know that she is the daughter of Pradeep, being brought up in Kaniyakumari. Coming to know of her daughter's love with Silambarasan, Pradeep sends his men to bump him off. The rest is all about whether Silambarasan foils Pradeep's plans and joins Gopika.
