Temples which were built in just one night
India as a country represents endless elegance in art and rich cultural heritage with its ancient monuments and temples. But when it comes to archaeology a few of the artisan who went to extreme and pulled up towering structures in a single night. 1 Bhojeshwar Temple, Madhya Pradesh
In the 11th century, the site of this incomplete Shiva temple was said to be abandoned on the same night the construction begun.
2 Bhojeshwar Temple, Madhya Pradesh
The unfinished materials of this structure are found deserted on the site, which includes the architectural plans engraved on the surrounding rocks.
3 Kakanmath Temple, Madhya Pradesh
Located in Morena, this is a ruined ancient Shiva temple and it dates back to the 11th century.
4 Kakanmath Temple, Madhya Pradesh
There is a popular belief about this temple that it was built in a night by the ghosts of Bholenath, during the reign of Kachchhapaghata dynasty.
