JNU Suicide case: Suicide note recovered from boy's bag

India News: A 22 year-old-girl who was attacked by a classmate at the Jawaharlal Nehru University still remains in a critical condition on Thursday. Her classmate Aakash, a BA student, who took poison after attacking her had died on Wednesday.
A suicide note has been recovered from his bag which hints at their relationship turning sour. The note mentioned that they were constantly fighting. But the reports said their classmates were unaware the two had had a falling out.
On the day of attack, they both had a verbal argument following which the boy attacked the girl. He, later, consumed poision and also slit throat. Both the students were taken to different hospitals after the incident. While the boy was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Trauma Centre, the girl has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital."He was brought at 12:08 pm and died at 1:15 pm. The suspected cause of death is poisoning," an AIIMS doctors had said.
Safdarjung Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr BD Athani had said that the girl has received multiple injuries on scalp and was being examined by a group of neuro surgeons.
"She has received multiple injuries on her scalp and radiological investigations are being carried out by neuro surgeons examining her. The patient is being monitored constantly and she is gradually stabilising," Athani had said.The incident took place inside room number 213 at the School of Languages in the JNU campus around 11:00 am on Wednesday.
