Govt-Maoist talks resume in Odisha hostage crisis - NewsX

Second round of talks between the Maoist-appointed interlocutors and the government's representatives to end the Odisha hostage crisis are underway. While one of the abducted Italians Claudio Colangelo was released on Sunday, talks resumed to secure the release of the second Italian hostage Paulo Bosusco. Meanwhile sources tell NewsX that the Government has begun back channel talks with Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh believed to be a frontal organization of the Moaists for the release of the abducted BJD MLA Jhina Hikaka.
