The Punjab govt has come under severe criticism after the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal donated Rs.1 crore to his alma mater. Now Badal's largesse to the Lawrence School in Sanawar near Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh has landed him into trouble as it is the public money he has chosen to donate from, and not his personal savings, Sukhbir handed over the cheque during the annual day on Thursday when he was the chief guest at the occasion.
