Interacting with scribes, Akhilesh said that it would be wrong to say that Uttar Pradesh Government is protecting Khurshid and vice-versa. His remark was aimed at India Against Corruption member Arvind Kejriwal's allegation, in which he raised question over government's intention to launch fair probe into the matter.
