Saif-Kareena marriage 'un-Islamic': Deoband - NewsX

The Darul Uloom Deoband has sparked yet another controversy. This time by ruling that the marriage of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor was illegal. Talking to the media, Arshad Faruki Mufti, Mufti of the Darul Uloom Deoband, said that under Islamic marriage law, both the bride and groom should be converted to Islam. And since Kareena had reportedly not accepted Islam the marriage according to him was illegal.
