Justice Katju continues to make fresh allegations of corruption in judiciary

Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Markandey Katju has delivered another bombshell in his blog alleging corruption in the judiciary. Katju, who accused former Chief Justice SH Kapadia of not acting against a corrupt judge, has once again hit back at Justice Kapadia, who said that he does not remember the case mentioned by Justice Katju.

In his new blog post, Justice Katju has said "It is strange that Justice Kapadia does not remember Intelligence Bureau tapping the phone of the Allahabad HC judge." Katju has alleged that the judge had serious allegations of corruption against him. Katju has said that phone tap record would exist with intelligence agency and also in CJI's official file and can be accessed. He has also said that the SC collegium where Justice Kapadia was a member almost succeeded in bringing a Madras High Court Judge to the Supreme Court who was unfit for the post.
