DIG dancing in a CRPF ceremony when girl was raped and murdered in Faizabad

A Senior Sub Inspector (SSI) of Uttar Pradesh Police was arrested for allegedly abducting and attempting to rape a minor girl, who was rescued from his possession in a hotel in Faizabad, police said on Thursday.
On the complaint by the girl's family, police team raided a hotel in Rakabganj area of the city and arrested SSI Man Singh after rescuing the girl from his possession on Wednesday night, police said.
Singh was posted as an SSI at Akbarpur Kotwali police station of neighbouring Ambedkar Nagar district, they said.
