Mumbai Marathon 2013 kicks off

The 10th edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon is underway in Mumbai. Cool conditions prevailing in Mumbai is expected aid better timings. Defending champion Laban Moiben of Kenya is among the favourites to win the men's title. 101-year-old Fauja Singh is also participating in the Marathon with over 40,000 runners in it.
Approximately 140 policemen, including six IPS officers, are also participating in the half marathon.
